Cheap & Easy Meals for Kinda Large Families

Feeding a mini crowd

I’ve been asked a gazillion times to put some of my staple recipes in one spot, so here we go! They aren’t fancy, but they’re good and filling and my family eats them, so there’s that. 🙂

Take what you want from them with a grain of salt (see what I did there?), and I hope you get something out of them!

I try to keep all recipes around $1-$4 per serving, which adds up quick when you’re consistently feeding 6+ people and inflation is at an all-time high! A Big Mac meal at McD’s is like $10 now! I never thought going to McDonald’s would feel like a special occasion!

I’ll be honest. We USED to buy non-GMO, all organic, nitrate/nitrite-free this and that, and even had our own cow butchered a time or two back when we only had 2 kiddos. Life has happened, and we just do the best we can where we’re at right now!

I’ve got the best and worst critics that live right here under my roof! So the things I make are what gets eaten. I’ve scrapped recipes that I thought were good but were not a hit, so rest-assured, any recipe I present has an A+ rating (in our home, at least!)
